One man bumped into another man.
That was the catalyst for an argument that erupted into gunfire at a Lone Star College campus, sending four people to the hospital – three with bullet wounds – locking the campus down for several hours Tuesday afternoon, bringing about 140 sheriff’s units to the school and spurring international news coverage.
On Thursday, authorities charged a second man, 22-year-old Trey Foster, with aggravated assault in the shooting at the community college’s North Harris campus, according to court records. The incident apparently started when another person “bumped into” Foster, who has not been arrested, court records state.
Court records allege that Foster was the shooter. Authorities earlier charged Carlton Berry, 22, a friend of Foster’s, in connection with the incident.
