It’s now being reported that Mariah Carey is pregnant.

The news comes courtesy of RadarOnline.com, which claims an unnamed source close to Carey and husband, comedian and actor Nick Cannon, confirmed the news.

Carey’s longtime publicist, Cindi Berger, would not deny reports.

“I’m not at libertMariah & Nick leave a medical buildingy to discuss Mariah’s personal life at this time,” her rep told RadarOnline.com.

The 40-year-old Grammy winner has made no secret about the fact that she and Cannon, whom she married two years ago, have been trying to have a child.

Speculation that Carey is finally pregnant intensified when the singer abruptly dropped out of starring in Tyler Perry’s ‘For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf’ last month.

At the time, her rep would only say that Carey “is not doing the movie because her doctor advised her not to.”

The couple has been photographed numerous times visiting a medical facility in Los Angeles in the last several months.
