Keke Palmer, Lil Mama to star as TLC in upcoming biopic

Keke Palmer has been cast as Rozanda “Chilli” Thomas in VH1′s upcoming TLC biopic. She is the last actress to be casted and joins both Lil Mama, who will play Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes and Drew Sidora, who has been cast as Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins, in the made-for-TV film.

“I am a true fan,” Keke says. ”I love these ladies and I always want to be proud of my work in any role that I do.” The VH1 TLC biopic begins filming in Atlanta, GA next month.

Lil Mama has been off the scene since she crashed the party during Hov and Alicia Key’s “Empire State of Mind” MTV performance back in 2009. Hopefully this will put the 23-year-old New York native, whose real name is Naitia Kirkland, back in the game.
